Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS) have gained an invaluable
position in today`s high tech products. Commonly called micro-machines,
are micron-sized devices that can sense or manipulate the physical
world. MEMS are actual mechanical systems that are created via
a process called micro machining. Micro machining uses essentially
the same steps as it takes to produce a basic Integrated Circuit
(IC) device.
